Nominations are now open

Here’s your opportunity to put forward a worthy nominee for Farming Champion for the Cornwall Farm Business Awards 2025, kindly sponsored by the NFU.

Within this category we are looking for someone who has had an outstanding contribution to agriculture. This nomination form is the sole application, so please give us as much detail as possible about the business and give concise reasons why this person should be shortlisted.

Feel free to nominate yourself, any of your clients or family, a neighbouring farmer, friends or anyone who you feel is worthy of this award.

2024 winner: Colin Dymond with Bridget Whell, NFU

Just to give you some guidance, the judges will be looking for the individual who they think has best contributed overall to the farming industry in Cornwall. Their contribution could come from a pure agricultural perspective, or may come away from the farm, such as supporting farming families.

There will be up to three finalists and the winner will be automatically be nominated for Cornwall’s ‘Farmer of the Year’ award.
